A Godly Woman VS. A Christian Girl
I read a blog once entitled "A Christian Boy VS A Godly Man" by my favorite blogger, Melissa. (I will put a link to her blog at the bottom of this post if you would like to check it out!)
Anywho, the post talked about how single girls shouldn't just settle for a Christian boy, but a Godly Man... For example...

His Love is Loyal
Have you ever felt far away from God?
Have you ever felt so far from Him that you don't think you'll ever be able to mend the broken relationship that was once perfectly put together?
Have you ever wondered "God where did you go? Why did you leave me?"
I have...

Young, Wild, and Free
Young, Wild, and Free.
Sounds pretty great right?
What's the first thing that pops into your head when you hear this phrase? For me it was maybe the words of a tattoo on a reckless teenage girl who enjoys sneaking out, getting drunk, and sleeping with every guy she meets.
Yikes.
But then I thought about it a little more.
Young.
Wild.
Free.
It's not just a motto for reckless teens to live by. It can be. But it can also mean something completely different. It can mean a life that I strive to live.
Now let me explain....

Seek ye First the Kingdom of God
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Keep Fighting the Good Fight!
Let's face it.... the life of a Christian isn't just rainbows and butterflies all the time. In fact, it's an actual war.
Satan isn't just some character who sits around in the depths of Hell sulking because he hasn't won yet. Satan is very much real, and he wants you. He wants to destroy you. He wants you to believe that you have no hope, that your so guilty your beyond Gods reach.

You are Beautiful!
It always starts out with that little naive girl. She's playing a game of tag and she suddenly realizes that she's the slowest one. She feels those all too familiar feelings for the first time. Insecurity. Embarrassment. Jealousy. Slowly but surely those feelings start to come back more and more. She's in 3rd grade and she realizes that she isn't as smart as some of her friends. In 6th grade she gets braces and the insecurities come on stronger than ever. In 9th grade she realizes her skin isn't as clear as some of the other girls. Her Senior year consists of covering herself in makeup and wondering why she can't be as pretty as the next girl, or as athletic as her best friend, or as skinny as her lab partner.
This girl is me...
This girl is you too...

Amplify 2015
Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together. -Psalm 34:3
This weekend was definitely one of the best I've had in a while. I was able to go to Amplify Fest 2015. Amplify is a really awesome Christian music festival in Arkansas with performers from all around the world! The best part... It's FREE!

Jeremiah 29:11
If anyone was to ask me what my favorite Bible verse is I would undoubtedly say that it's Jeremiah 29:11. For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. I have that verse engraved on a necklace, a bracelet, and I even have it written on a chalk board in my bedroom. It's definitely my favorite.
